Client Profile

PayLink LLP is a Fintech developer of a unified payment ecosystem for companies in Kazakhstan. The company has been operating in the market since 2023 and is actively developing its key areas: an acquiring service for processing card payments, payment gateways for topping up mobile phone balances, gaming and other services, as well as an electronic wallet.

PayLink products help companies in Kazakhstan fully organize their payment processes, ensuring a high level of successful transactions — over 94% of payments completed. The PayLink Fintech ecosystem offers extensive integration capabilities with clients’ technology stacks and ensures full transparency of transactions without hidden fees or offer terms.

Every transaction processed by PayLink products undergoes strict verification: the ecosystem prevents attempts to conduct transactions by individuals on financial regulators’ sanctions lists.

Why PayLink Chose Servercore

Before partnering with Servercore, PayLink LLP used the services of another cloud provider. Initially, the Fintech company deployed its projects on the infrastructure of another technology partner from Kazakhstan but encountered prolonged downtime of its services.

As a result, PayLink LLP decided to seek a contractor offering reliable cloud solutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The company conducted a thorough evaluation of IaaS and PaaS solutions available on the market and tested several different cloud platforms. As a result, the decision was made to migrate to Servercore.

The key factors in choosing Servercore were:

Component 20
IT infrastructure compliance with the law on storage and processing of personal data in Kazakhstan,

hosting in a reliable Tier III data center in Almaty with ISO 27001 certification,
a3
PCI DSS 4.0.1 certification confirming secure storage of customer bank card data,
a4
high uptime of cloud servers — 99.98% with an SLA guarantee,

‘To comply with local regulatory requirements, we needed a reliable cloud provider in Kazakhstan. We evaluated companies in the market and chose Servercore according to our corporate criteria. The Fintech ecosystem became our pilot migration project. After successful testing, we gradually migrated our remaining products to Servercore.’

Client's Main Objectives

PayLink LLP operates in the Fintech industry, which requires adherence to the strict personal and payment data storage and processing requirements. It is critical for the company to work with a provider whose facilities are physically located in Kazakhstan. In addition, the IT provider’s products must comply with 94-V and PCI DSS standards.
The stable operation of PayLink Fintech ecosystem, through which all transactions are processed, is mission-critical to its clients’ businesses. Therefore, the company sought a cloud solution that would provide high service availability and minimal IT infrastructure response time.
With the previous provider, PayLink faced high prices for cloud capacity even when limiting server processor performance (shared vCPUs). For this reason, the company considered working with a provider whose reduced processor load would result in real budget savings.

Results and Future Plans

PayLink LLP successfully migrated to Servercore cloud servers in 2 days. On the leased infrastructure, the company fully deployed the backend for its key Fintech products: the payment ecosystem, payment gateways, and electronic wallet.

Servers with over 99.98% uptime ensure stable operation of PayLink services, enabling a 9% increase in their availability and a 6-fold increase in IT system response speed. The ability to select core share configurations (10%, 20%, or 50%) allows the company to manage costs flexibly.

Placement in a Tier III data center in Kazakhstan compliant with ISO 27001 enabled the fintech company to localize its IT infrastructure for full compliance with local regulatory requirements. Additionally, Servercore’s PCI DSS 4.0 certification has simplified PayLink’s interactions with financial industry partners and ensures adherence to high payment security standards.

At the time of preparing of this case, PayLink LLP leases 15 virtual machines from Servercore, including custom flavor configurations, and also uses S3 storage and PaaS solutions for data storage and processing. The project infrastructure includes deployed Redis and PostgreSQL cloud databases as well as fault-tolerant Kubernetes clusters.

PayLink plans to expand its presence and enter markets in Western Asia. The company would find it convenient to use resources from a single provider and is ready to choose Servercore as its technology partner in the new region.
