Client profile

Uzum Nasiya is one of the leading installment service providers in Uzbekistan operating without initial installments, fines, or penalties.

Uzum Nasiya, a part of the national digital ecosystem Uzum, is currently one of the country’s largest BNPL services. Approximately 45% of orders at the Uzm Marketplace are paid in installments through Uzum Nasiya. The company operates more than 5,000 partner outlets across all regions of the country.

Uzum Nasiya’s product covers both B2B and B2C services. Some of Uzum Nasiya’s corporate services, such as 1C, are hosted on their own equipment (on-premise solution). This is due to the fact that Uzum Nasiya has to store some ultra-sensitive data on its own facilities in order to comply with the internal security requirements. However, most of the information generated within the core business processes by the company’s client services is stored in the cloud.

In order to maintain the stable operation of Uzum Nasiya’s services, a powerful and fault-tolerant IT infrastructure with DDoS attack protection is required.

«Servercore’s staff actively assisted us with the migration, enabling us to move to the cloud within a month without any difficulties. After the successful IT infrastructure testing, we gradually started transferring all our cloud servers from the previous provider to Servercore. Currently, all servers are successfully running in Servercore’s cloud and assisting us in scaling our business».

Client’s main objectives

The flexibility and scalability of the new provider’s resources had to meet the rapid pace of business growth. It was important for Uzum Nasiya not only to move to a contractor with a flexible IT infrastructure, but also to ensure minimal downtime for their service during the migration.
Uzum Nasiya considered providers with a clear and transparent pricing policy for cooperation. It was also important for the company to use cloud computing with a pay-as-you-go model.
When working with a provider, Uzum Nasiya needed a tailored service for scaling business challenges. If the company requires new cloud products or capacity beyond the provider’s limit, the contractor must be able to adapt to these new requirements.
Uzum Nasiya’s business falls under certain data storage and processing regulations, so it was critical for the company to cooperate with a provider whose facilities were physically located in Uzbekistan. It was also necessary for the IT service provider’s data centers to comply with the ZRU-547-son and PCI DSS standards.

Results and future plans

Uzum Nasiya managed to seamlessly migrate its entire cloud IT infrastructure to Servercore’s cloud from another local provider with presence in Uzbekistan within a month. During the migration process, Servercore’s staff provided comprehensive assistance to the client helping to avoid errors in the operation of Uzum Nasiya’s service.

Currently, the company has custom-configured cloud servers deployed in Servercore with approximately 600 virtual cores and public IP addresses. Uzum Nasiya uses 1.2 TB of RAM for data processing. The company also actively uses the Managed Kubernetes service, which helps keep services available and stable.

Servercore’s flexible solutions not only allow Uzum Nasiya to easily scale its resources to meet daily business needs, but also to save on IT infrastructure maintenance. The pay-as-you-go model allows the company to optimize costs. Additionally, Uzum Nasiya does not have to spend extra funds on technicians maintaining the equipment as it is Servercore’s responsibility.

In the future, Uzum Nasiya plans to further expand its business and will require larger server capacities for new projects. Therefore, the company may rent a pool of dedicated servers, which resources will be fully owned by Uzum Nasiya.

In case of non-standard business needs, Servercore is ready to provide Uzum Nasiya with new personalized solutions.
