Managed ClickHouse Database

Fast NVMe storage
Fault tolerance
Suitable for DWH and ML workloads

Turnkey, ready-to-use clusters of open-source ClickHouse — hosted and backed by a transparent service level agreement (SLA). Focus your resources on data warehouse (DWH) development,data analytics, and log processing, not administration. We handle cluster deployment, support, and performance tuning.

Why Choose a Managed ClickHouse Database from Servercore

Create a cluster
Reducing IT infrastructure costs

We manage the entire infrastructure, from hardware selection and configuration to clustering and backups. You save on CAPEX and OPEX without increasing headcount.

Rapid scaling without downtime

Support for vertical and horizontal scaling.
As the workload grows, simply adjust the configuration by resizing the nodes (vCPU/RAM) or increasing the number of replicas. The cluster will adapt instantly.

High availability through replication

Add nodes to improve cluster fault tolerance. Multi-AZ storage is available for multi-node configurations. Servers are deployed across separate physical hosts with independent power supplies, ensuring that data remains safe even in the event of an incident.

Data security

Collect, store, and process data securely: our cloud databases comply with international and local standards and regulations, including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, GDPR, Law No. ZRU-547 and Law No. 94-V.

Automated deployment in just a few clicks and intuitive management

Forget about manual database configuration with our ready-to-use managed ClickHouse service. Launch the cloud service through the web-based control panel or deploy it using Terraform.

A unified platform for your infrastructure

Use Servercore’s extensive product portfolio, from Managed Kubernetes and S3 to a global router that connects all infrastructure components within a single control panel.

High performance

Powerful Intel® Xeon® Gold and AMD EPYC™ processors, high-frequency DDR5 registered ECC memory and local NVMe SSDs deliver high database performance and ensure high availability even under peak loads.

How Managed ClickHouse Clusters Are Structured at Servercore

Node groups are divided into two types:
Keeper nodes coordinate all processes but do not store data. These nodes are included in all deployment configurations except the single-node configuration.
Replicas (shards) store and process data. The minimum supported cluster configuration consists of one group with one replica; the maximum number of replicas in a group is 10.

FAQ

What features does a cloud-based ClickHouse database offer?

ClickHouse is designed for fast, real-time big data processing and analytics. It is ideal for use cases requiring fast aggregations and analytics across large datasets.

Key features include:

  • analysis of log and event data streams;
  • product and business analytics;
  • development of interactive dashboards and reporting systems;
  • fast telemetry data processing and performance monitoring;
  • monitoring of infrastructure and service health;
  • analysis of user behaviour patterns and transaction flows.

ClickHouse delivers high performance when handling millions and billions of records, with fast query execution, scalability, and rapid access to analytics.

How does managed ClickHouse differ from on-premise solutions?

On-premise databases are deployed within an organisation’s own infrastructure, where users manage the hardware, operating system, DBMS, and security themselves. Users gain full control over the system, but this requires significant maintenance resources and creates a risk of data loss or unavailability in the event of a failure if the data is stored on a single server.

A cloud-based ClickHouse database is a fully managed database management system. Servercore maintains and administers the infrastructure and provides resilience to failures, data redundancy, and capacity scaling.

Which ClickHouse versions are available at Servercore?

ClickHouse version 26 is available at Servercore.

What factors influence the choice of cluster configuration?

The right database configuration depends on whether you are migrating an existing database to Servercore or creating a new one.

In the first case, start with the specifications of the server that previously hosted the database. You can start with fewer vCPUs and less RAM; if resources run low, you can always scale up the cluster during operation.

When creating a database from scratch, it is better to start with a minimum cluster and scale it up as the workload grows.
Provision extra disk space to reduce the need for frequent scaling. This is particularly important for non-fault-tolerant clusters.

How do I enable ClickHouse backups?

This feature is enabled by default and cannot be disabled. ClickHouse backup functionality supports cluster and data recovery but does not support backup export. Backups are stored in S3 object storage with logical isolation between customers.

Can an existing ClickHouse database be hosted in the Servercore cloud?

We guarantee assistance with migrating ClickHouse and selecting the right database configuration. You can get a free consultation from Servercore migration specialists, who will conduct a thorough audit and develop a detailed plan for a seamless DBMS migration. Follow the link for more details.

How can I calculate the ClickHouse cost for my specific workload before signing up?

You may use our online-calculator to find out the cost for your own case.
