Benefits of Renting a Servercore Cloud Databases
Create a clusterDeploy PGVector database hosting in just a few clicks using the Servercore control panel.
The service uses Intel® Xeon® Gold 6454 Turbo Boost and AMD EPYC™ processors combined with a local NVMe HighSpeedPerformance drive (40,000 IOPS, 500 MB/s).
The service automatically creates full and incremental backups. You can restore data to a specific point in time using Point-in-Time Recovery.
The PostgreSQL service is certified and compliant with PCI DSS 3.2.1, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27017, and ISO/IEC 27018 safety standards.

FAQ
PGVector is an extension for PostgreSQL that adds support for vector data and semantic search (vector similarity search) to a database. This configuration lets you store vectors directly in PostgreSQL and use them for RAG, recommendations, and other AI scenarios.
PGVector’s key feature is integration. You get vector search as just another data type inside the PostgreSQL you already know and trust, with no extra infrastructure costs. For most enterprise AI apps, that’s more than enough.
This configuration is a good fit for:
- AI app developers. A single SQL query lets them run semantic search and filter by business metadata at the same time, with no need to sync two separate stores.
- Backend developers. Vector search integrates into their existing PostgreSQL stack without introducing a new API or a separate service.
- AI agent developers. PGVector enables atomic writes of agent memory: context updates and business state changes happen in a single transaction, eliminating drift between memory and app state.
- n8n users (or other orchestrators). PGVector connects through the standard PostgreSQL node without extra plugins for vector databases, which simplifies configuration and debugging of AI workflows.
- MCP server developers. PGVector enables a stateless server architecture where all state (documents, vectors, metadata) lives in a single database, simplifying scaling and deployment.
- Startups and MVPs. PGVector lowers operational costs: one PostgreSQL instance replaces a separate vector database.
To purchase a cloud PGVector database and create your first cluster, sign up in our control panel. We will take care of deploying and managing your database as part of our Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS).
You can also manage a database using our control panel.
For detailed guidance on working with PGVector, email our technical support team at hello@servercore.com. We will reply within one business day.
The service price depends on consumed resources: virtual CPU cores (vCPU), RAM, and drive space. You can calculate the exact price of PGVector hosting in the control panel. Payment for Managed PGVector is made based on actual usage; that is, depending on the amount of resources used (according to the pay-as-you-go model).
Servercore provides fault-tolerant DBMS clusters with a 99.95% fault tolerance guarantee. A fault-tolerant cluster is a cluster with the number of nodes greater than or equal to two. For more information, refer to the User Agreement and Terms of Use.
Our technical support specialists are available 24/7. They are ready to assist promptly with any technical issues and answer your questions. To contact technical support, use the ticket system in the Servercore control panel.
Servercore is an international IT infrastructure provider with a local presence in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kenya.
Your database server will be hosted in one of our or partner data centers, depending on the location in which you rent it. You can learn more about our data centers, Tier certifications and regions of presence in the documentation.
